Most people call him Elex, or just Lex. He's a local car guy and desert racer, and now he runs your neighborhood smog station.
Hometown
San Diego roots, Mira Mesa to the core
Elex was born and raised in San Diego, in Mira Mesa. His roots there go back a generation: his parents grew up in Mira Mesa too and went to Mira Mesa High School. This isn't a shop opened by someone passing through. It's run by someone from the neighborhood.
Family first
Elex is married to Dominique Noble. They have three boys and two dogs, so the house is never quiet.
A car guy, through and through
Elex is a well-known member of San Diego's local car groups. He has built custom and rare BMWs, so he knows cars from the inside out.
A lifelong desert junkie
He started out riding and racing dirt bikes in the desert as a kid. Today he races in SCORE's Baja 250, Baja 500 and Baja 1000, and he has placed in the Baja 250. Plenty of the big names out there have large sponsors behind them. Elex races on pride and passion.
Now serving his community
